The “failed to send AT command” could be a clue. What version of the SDK are you using? What type of SIM are you using and is it activated? I’m assuming an antenna is connected?

I’d recommend starting with the at_client sample and run the following commands:

AT
AT+CEREG=5
AT+CFUN=1

That’s a good check to make sure your connectivity is good. If you could share the log from that, it would be helpful.
