jaredwolff Very likely you’ll brown out the rail and anything running on it. You’d likely have to test it across all levels of battery voltage to determine if it can handle that 40ms/400mA spike. Modern switching regulators are fairly robust I haven’t seen one blow up in a loooong time from over-current.
