maybe to simple:
incremental builds with west build doesn’t in my experience consider changes in the configs and overlays reliable.
Therefore I use either a “pristine” (west build -p), or, I simply remove the “build” folder before executing west build.

AchimKraus Yeah, I kind of found that out a few days ago, Now I just do an “Edit Config” and “Generate and Rebuild” to make sure all my changes are taken into account. Doesn’t help that I’m changing multiple things are the moment to get my stuff working. Thank you for that info.

I also found out, that as an input P0.15 wasn’t changing values for me, I had to move my GPIO to P0.18 (change just the overlay), and without changing the code, I start seeing the pin value change (i.e. tap 3.3V or GND to pin actually changes the pin value properly.
