I have been unable to get my thing plus to connect to the nRF cloud.

I tried using JTIP with nrf_cloud_rest_fota sample and NRF_CLOUD_REST_CELL_LOCATION
I created the certificates from nRF cloud, and uploaded the certificates to the 16842753 spot on the device.

But when the devices try to connect they just get JWT error 40100

I’ve tried creating my own certificates and uploading them to pre-provision, but I just get server 422 from nRF cloud.

How can I provision this device and get it connected to the cloud?

charlesfayal all nRF9160 Feather/Thing Plus are pre-provisioned for nRF Cloud. Looks like you may have overwritten it. You also need to activate/add that device to your account before it can successfully connect. (At least that’s how I had to do it. It’s been a while)

I’m sure you’ve already looked at it but their documentation is pretty good:

    https://docs.nrfcloud.com/Devices/Associations/Provisioning.html

Worst case you can reach out to their team on https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/
